We are looking for a Head Chef to help us run a Michelin star restaurant.

Qualified Head Sushi Chef candidates are those who have experience organizing and running a Michelin caliber restaurant, as well as functioning in a front-facing capacity. The right candidate is comfortable communicating with guests, and helping to achieve a Michelin-caliber experience.

Qualifications Preferred:
Supervisory experience (required)
Previous Sous Sushi Chef (or comparable leadership role) experience in a restaurant environment
Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in a professional and hospitality driven restaurant.
Certified in all safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
English language, professional communications, math, and computer skills are required.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (minimum of 12 hours / day).
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance professional appearance.
Ability to problem solve in live time.
Ability to lead a team with little to no guidance.

Essential functions and responsibilities:
Must speak French and English
Create a communicative, professional and respectful relationship with the General Managers, Regional Managers, Directors, Ownership, and the team.
Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s receiving policies and procedures.
Work closely with the General Manager to ensure proper leadership, fiscal responsibilities, training, employee retention, and maintaining a professional environment for all members of the team.
Lead by example to ensure that the team is continually striving to be better, yourself included.
Active engagement with guests; start and end the guest experience through opening and closing statements.
Working service daily is required.
Providing support to all team members and filling in wherever is necessary.
Monthly review and understanding of P&L and yearly budget objectives.
Possess a Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection from the local Department of Health that has jurisdiction over the employing property.
Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of service and overall financial success of the restaurant working in conjunction with upper management.
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
Perform inventory and purchasing responsibilities on a daily and monthly basis, in conjunction with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.

For the right candidates we will assist with relocation.

Travel
International travel is expected to training.

Compensation Details
Compensation: $90,000 CAD to $110,000 CAD annually

Les candidats qualifi\xc3\xa9s en tant que chef sushi chef sont ceux qui ont de l\'exp\xc3\xa9rience dans l\'organisation et la gestion d\'un restaurant de calibre Michelin, ainsi que dans des fonctions de premier plan. Le bon candidat est \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99aise pour communiquer avec les clients et contribuer \xc3\xa0 r\xc3\xa9aliser une exp\xc3\xa9rience de calibre Michelin.

Qualifications souhait\xc3\xa9es :
Exp\xc3\xa9rience en supervision (obligatoire)
Exp\xc3\xa9rience ant\xc3\xa9rieure de Sous Sushi Chef (ou r\xc3\xb4le de leadership comparable) dans un environnement de restauration
Minimum de 5 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience de travail dans un restaurant professionnel et ax\xc3\xa9 sur l\'hospitalit\xc3\xa9.
Certifi\xc3\xa9 dans toutes les proc\xc3\xa9dures de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9, d\xe2\x80\x99hygi\xc3\xa8ne et de manipulation des aliments.
Des comp\xc3\xa9tences en anglais, en communications professionnelles, en math\xc3\xa9matiques et en informatique sont requises.
\xc3\x8atre capable de travailler en position debout pendant de longues p\xc3\xa9riodes (minimum 12 heures/jour).
\xc3\x8atre capable d\xe2\x80\x99atteindre, de se pencher, de se baisser et de soulever fr\xc3\xa9quemment jusqu\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa0 50 livres.

Cr\xc3\xa9er une relation communicative, professionnelle et respectueuse avec les directeurs g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9raux, les directeurs r\xc3\xa9gionaux, les directeurs, la propri\xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 et l\'\xc3\xa9quipe.
Assurez-vous que tous les produits sont re\xc3\xa7us dans le bon nombre d\xe2\x80\x99unit\xc3\xa9s et dans le bon \xc3\xa9tat et que les livraisons sont effectu\xc3\xa9es conform\xc3\xa9ment aux politiques et proc\xc3\xa9dures de r\xc3\xa9ception du restaurant.
Travailler en \xc3\xa9troite collaboration avec le directeur g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ral pour assurer un leadership appropri\xc3\xa9, les responsabilit\xc3\xa9s financi\xc3\xa8res, la formation, la fid\xc3\xa9lisation des employ\xc3\xa9s et le maintien d\'un environnement professionnel pour tous les membres de l\'\xc3\xa9quipe.
Montrez l\xe2\x80\x99exemple pour garantir que l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe s\xe2\x80\x99efforce continuellement de s\xe2\x80\x99am\xc3\xa9liorer, y compris vous-m\xc3\xaame.

Assister \xc3\xa0 toutes les r\xc3\xa9unions d\'employ\xc3\xa9s programm\xc3\xa9es et apporter des suggestions d\'am\xc3\xa9lioration.
Effectuer les responsabilit\xc3\xa9s d\'inventaire et d\'achats sur une base quotidienne et mensuelle, en collaboration avec le directeur g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ral ou le directeur g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ral adjoint.
Pr\xc3\xa9parer tous les documents requis, y compris les formulaires, les rapports et les calendriers, de mani\xc3\xa8re organis\xc3\xa9e et en temps opportun.
Superviser et garantir que les politiques du restaurant concernant les \xc3\xa9valuations du rendement des employ\xc3\xa9s sont suivies et compl\xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9es en temps opportun.
