Head Pickleball Instructor (summer, Part Time)
Job Description
PicklePlayground is hiring a Head Instructor to lead our on-site daycare pickleball programs across Central Toronto. This is a part-time position during summer weekdays and all equipment will be provided. The Head Instructor is responsible for delivering fun and structured pickleball sessions for children (training will be provided), while ensuring safe supervision for the kids. The Head Instructor will lead on-court instruction, oversee assistant instructors, and manage equipment setup and breakdown before and after each session. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, leading small teams, and representing a growing youth sports program in the community.
Job Qualifications:
Must have a reliable car and willingness to transport and store pickleball equipment between sessions
Must have a
flexible summer schedule
with availability for some weekday daytime programs Available to commute throughout Central Toronto for programs Confident leading groups and providing clear, positive instruction Experience with tennis or pickleball preferred; however, training for games & drills will be provided Experience working with kids is considered an assetIf selected for the job, you will be asked to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check (background check for working with children).
