Marketing Team: Head of SEO

What you\'ll do:

We are looking for an SEO expert to manage all search engine optimization both technical and editorial for Durable.

You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, editorial, programmatic, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the SEO strategy for Durable by providing SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Execute and manage this strategy by developing content in coordination with SEO goals - general and keyword specific
  • Set SEO performance goals and measure them using KPIs, such as organic traffic, search rankings, search engine visibility, and click-through rate
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI with every piece of content, tactic or campaign
  • Track, report, and analyze all content and landing pages
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
  • Work with the marketing team to drive SEO with their content creation and content programming on the website and within social channels
  • Recommending and prioritizing fixes for technical issues that will impact organic performance and report on their effectiveness i.e. website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Sharing your technical knowledge with other functions and working collaboratively to solve problems and test solutions, and advising on product development
Who you are:
  • Proven experience in a lead SEO role building, owning and running all in-house SEO strategy for a SaaS or related company
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Knowledge of the best on-site and off-site SEO practices
  • Experience using the most popular website crawlers (ScreamingFrog, DeepCrawl, and Moz), SEO analysis tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, and SEOptimer), and web analytics software (WebTrends, UserTesting, and Google Analytics)
  • Strong leadership and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, organized
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Pay and benefits

The annual range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000.

This range may change with experience or if you are hired in a fully-remote role.
