We're expanding into retail locations across Canada and are looking for a
Head of Sales
to lead that growth. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, strategy, and seeing products they believe in land in the perfect stores.
Position Overview
As our
Head of Sales
, you'll be the driving force behind retail expansion for all of our brands. You'll identify and contact potential retail partners, pitch products, close deals, and maintain long-term relationships with stores, spas, and boutiques. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that combines strategy, communication, and entrepreneurial spirit.
You'll collaborate closely with our marketing and fulfillment teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for every retail partner.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify retailers that align with our brands (e.g., skincare boutiques, wellness spas, beauty shops, apothecaries).
Conduct cold outreach and in-person visits to pitch product lines and secure retail placements.
Manage wholesale accounts from first contact through fulfillment and retention.
Build and maintain relationships with buyers, store owners, and distributors.
Send and track samples; follow up with personalized outreach.
Attend trade shows and events (approx. 3-4 per year).
Report on outreach, conversion rates, and retail growth metrics.
Shape and evolve the sales strategy as our company expands.
Qualifications & Experience
2+ years of experience
in sales, retail placement, or wholesale account management (beauty, skincare, or wellness industries preferred).
Strong background in
business, marketing, or esthetics
is a plus.
Proven ability to
prospect, pitch, and close
new retail opportunities.
Comfortable with
cold calling, follow-up communication, and in-person presentations.
Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be
based in Vancouver, BC
and available for 1-2 office days per week.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$60,000-$70,000 CAD per year (based on experience)
Commission:
Earn commission on every retail placement and sale
Schedule:
Full-time (Monday-Friday), hybrid flexibility after onboarding
