Who we need

Reporting to our Co-founder and CEO, we are looking for an innovative and versatile Head of Product. This is a chance to lead our product development efforts, ensuring that our platform continues to deliver exceptional value to both homeowners and our B2B partners across various industry verticals.

You will:

  • Define the product strategy. You will develop a deep understanding of the unique needs and pain points of homeowners, condo owners, and tenants. Collaborating with B2B partners from different industry verticals to grasp their requirements, you will shape a product strategy that aligns with these diverse perspectives.
  • Lead the product development. You will oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to execution. Using data analytics and user metrics to track product performance and continuously analyze data to create new features, optimize existing ones and drive growth.
  • Champion a user-centric design philosophy. You will use customer insights, feedback, and market research to inform product decisions, ensuring that the platform meets the needs of both homeowners and B2B partners.
  • Build the product roadmap. You will develop and communicate a clear and concise product roadmap that is aligned with business goals and customer needs. You will identify opportunities to expand HomePorter\'s platform into new industry verticals. Working closely with business development to establish partnerships and drive growth, you will prioritize and improve the user experience, making it seamless, intuitive, and accessible to all customers.
  • Lead the team. You will build and manage a highly motivated and creative product team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence. You will lead cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and data analysts, to create new features and improve existing ones.
You have:
  • The expertise. You have proven experience in B2B product management, with a track record of driving successful product strategies and launches. You have a user-centric mindset with a passion for creating products that enhance real-world experiences. You are proficient in using data and analytics tools to drive product decisions. Your priority is customer satisfaction and engagement with our solutions.
  • The project management. You know how to plan and lead new feature development to optimize solutions, taking a high-level concept, breaking it down, and identifying deliverables, tools, and resources. You can manage a cross-functional team and a project from end to end, document project phases and initiate written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders. You can navigate customer anxiety and change management requests, avoid scope creep, respond urgently but firmly, and translate technical solutions for a non-technical audience.
  • The relationship-building skills. You can plan, coordinate, and influence the work of a collaborative Agile team, ensuring delivery under tight deadlines. You can offer guidance and advice based on broad and deep knowledge of various techniques, tools, and methodologies. You believe in keeping up to date with, and implementing, best practices.
  • The communication skills. You are seen as a trusted advisor who can gain buy-in, elicit information, and feedback. You are comfortable working with clients and internal teams across all levels. You have outstanding verbal and written abilities. You are an empathetic and active listener, able to drill down through intelligent questions and deep product knowledge.
