This isn't just another marketing role. As Head of Marketing, Canada, with Intrepid, you'll have the opportunity to inspire both our customers and our team through your passion, creativity, and expertise in this leadership position.
In this role, you will lead and drive the execution of Intrepid's marketing strategy in Canada, focusing on maximizing brand awareness, driving sales growth, and enhancing customer engagement. You will oversee all marketing operations across the country, including multi-channel campaigns, brand activations, marquee partnerships like TIFF, and collaborations with our global marketing teams.
You'll manage a diverse and talented marketing team and oversee multimillion-dollar budgets, acting as the Canadian representative for global initiatives. Your work will ensure alignment with company objectives while delivering measurable results against KPIs, revenue targets, and passenger growth goals.
We are looking for a high-performing leader with strong commercial acumen, data drive, innovative thinking, and the ability to build emotional connections with customers. You will foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture and inspire your team to achieve ambitious goals while making a tangible impact on the Canadian market.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Toronto, with a hybrid work schedule where you'd be required to work from our office 3 days per week.
Some of the experience you'll bring to this role will include:
Tertiary marketing qualifications
7+ years marketing experience, preferably for a global organization
Extensive experience across all marketing disciplines - including brand marketing, PR and performance/digital
Record of success in traditional and non-traditional marketing with measurable results
Proven people management and leadership skills
Data driven and performance marketing oriented
Experience managing agency relationships and media buying
Experience managing sizeable marketing budgets
Experience managing big partnerships and activations like TIFF
Outstanding strategic thinking and decision making
Solid negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent communication and relationship skills
