Job Description

The Richardson Sport Head Coach is responsible for ensuring successful multi-sport programs by organizing staff and equipment. The Head Coach is also responsible for hiring new coaches, replacing broken equipment, and ensuring media regularly reaches the marketing team.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

RSI Customer Service Support to Manager

Assist manager with inquiries about RSI programs Assist with marketing initiatives Continue to service the relationships that have been established in the past Answer phones if manager is not available
RSI Equipment Management

Ensure all coaches have a clean, full set of equipment Keep records on the equipment stock on hand Organize equipment storage
RSI Head Coach

Assess each staff once per season Do follow up assessments when necessary Assist with planning and running of staff workshops Oversee mentoring of new coaches and act as a centre point for communication to the new coaches Do initial training with new coaches Assist with hiring of new coaches Coach classes / camps programs
RSI Sales and Marketing

Manage the signs for each location Do flyer drop offs for programs starting in the schools (seasonally) Ensure posters are up at each centre we do programming at (this can be done through distribution to the coaches) Work with program manager to follow promo checklist for each location Work on Lead Generation follow up and maintenance
RSI Programming

Work with recreation programs to continue to offer RSI programs throughout the year Maintain class lists, numbers, and programs throughout the season Using Google Calendar, schedule all RSI staff based on the programming Run year over year numbers comparison through Amilia, quarterly Scheduling birthday party staff and sending out party contracts
