Our brewery operates a robust catering kitchen that serves our daily menu which includes a variety of traditional menu items such smash burgers and pizzas. Our kitchen also services our events and catering business which includes a special menu for large events including but not limited to weddings.

Job Overview



We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a deep understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensure high-quality food preparation, and maintain a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase creativity and manage a dynamic team.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth daily operations Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional growth Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with health codes Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or menu changes Serve as a role model for hospitality excellence by providing outstanding service standards

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment including event catering Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry best practices Excellent team management and leadership abilities with a focus on staff development In-depth knowledge of restaurant management operations and food safety protocols Exceptional skills in food handling, serving, and maintaining high standards of quality Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Creative mindset for menu development and presentation artistry Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and management effectively Passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
