Duties



Lead and manage the kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Develop and execute innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively. Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety practices, and hospitality standards. Collaborate with restaurant management to create seasonal menus and special event offerings. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including scheduling staff shifts and managing workflow.

Experience



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Experience in menu development and cost control within a restaurant setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with both staff and customers. A passion for culinary arts combined with creativity in developing new dishes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
