Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining, catering, and food service management, with a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to food safety. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, kitchen management, and supervising staff to ensure high standards of food production and service.

Responsibilities



Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting the needs of our diverse clientele. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Monitor food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. Handle shift management duties, including scheduling staff and managing workflow during peak service times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during events and regular dining hours. Maintain effective communication with management regarding kitchen operations and staffing needs.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the culinary field. Hands-on experience with

modern kitchen equipment

(e.g., Rational ovens) Strong background in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in food preparation techniques, menu planning, and inventory management. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of culinary professionals. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Experience in supervising staff within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Culinary degree or equivalent experience in the food industry is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
