Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your leadership will inspire the team to create innovative menus while maintaining a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high culinary standards. Develop and implement creative menus that reflect current trends in the food industry. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs effectively. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food service standards, and hospitality practices. Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall guest experience through exceptional cuisine. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment at all times.

Experience



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, particular in expediting and plating. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Previous experience in menu development and culinary creativity is highly desirable. A passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
