Camp Hurontario, a long established private residential boys camp spectacularly located in the Thirty Thousand Islands of Georgian Bay (one hour north of Barrie) has an opening for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all culinary operations for the 2026 summer season. The chef lives on site in a furnished cottage situated near the dining hall.
Duties
The Head Chef is responsible for preparing 3 meals a day plus an evening snack for the summer camp's campers and staff, as well as providing support and guidance to the food service team.
Requirements
At least 3 years of previous food service experience catering to large groups
Completion of secondary school
Completion of college level program in cooking
Proof of a Criminal Background Check

Contract length: 2-3 months
Pay: $1,500.00-$2,000.00 per week
