We're looking for an experienced
Kitchen Manager
to join our team at a fast-paced breakfast restaurant that also operates in the evening. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen environment and is ready to take full ownership of kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee all kitchen operations, including hiring, training, and managing kitchen staff
Create and manage staff schedules
Maintain inventory and place food and supply orders
Ensure food quality, consistency, and safety standards are met at all times
Work efficiently on the line during busy service periods
Handle all back-end management tasks, including ordering systems, scheduling software, and kitchen administration
Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house management to maintain smooth operations
Requirements
Minimum
2 years of experience in kitchen management
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Comfortable working in a
fast-paced environment
Proficient with computers and restaurant management software
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Compensation
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
, based on experience
Opportunity for salary increase after the initial period, once you're fully managing kitchen operations (hiring, ordering, scheduling, etc.)
