Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen management experience, and a passion for food preparation and innovation. As the Head Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and inspire your team to achieve culinary excellence in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities



Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation. Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of presentation, taste, and quality. Develop and update menus, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining consistency and quality. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen operations. Lead team management efforts by providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled culinary team. Coordinate with food and beverage director to ensure seamless serving of dishes and excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health codes. Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience in a hospitality setting that involves catering/events. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of kitchen management principles, including inventory control and cost management. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Previous catering culinary experience demonstrating proficiency in kitchen operations utilizing rational ovens. Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
