Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Chef to lead our team. The ideal candidate will lead our kitchen staff, help with innovative menus, hire a productive team, and ensure top-quality food production.
Duties:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop and maintain menu items that meet high-quality standards
- Coach and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or menu changes
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is preferred
