Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes are served
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and assistants
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food costs and work within budgetary guidelines
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook or Chef role in the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional creativity and ability to develop innovative menu items
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
