Job Description
Lac La Martre Adventures is owned by Tlicho Adventures (a subsidary of Tlicho Investment Corporation). This remote fly-in fishing lodge is located on its own island in Lac La Martre; in the Northwest Territories.
We are a small collaborative team with a goal of providing excellent experiences to guests engaging in a remote wilderness adventure.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and cook meals for up to 35 guests, considering dietary restrictions and preferences; this includes breakfast, dinner, desserts and the occasional light lunch.
- Meals are a 6-day rotation (as guest trips are 6 days in length).
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed with local vendors (note all supplies are flown in).
- Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time.
- Create menus that offer a variety of options for guests, using local and fresh ingredients whenever possible.
- Ensure that kitchen equipment is maintained and kept in good working order.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.
Red-seal cook certification preferred.
