Responsibilities
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling techniques.
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu pricing strategies.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
Address customer feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in a leadership role within a restaurant or culinary environment.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations.
Demonstrated ability in team management and fostering a positive work culture.
Extensive knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
Previous experience in restaurant management is highly desirable.
