We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, showcasing their culinary skills while managing kitchen operations efficiently. As the Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu development, staff training, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during meal periods. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends while catering to customer preferences. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper food handling practices are followed. Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and maintain high performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food presentation and quality to meet restaurant standards. Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices, including food handling and safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent culinary skills with a creative approach to menu planning and execution. Experience in restaurant management is preferred, including budgeting and cost control. Familiarity with bartending is a plus, enhancing collaboration with beverage service teams.

Pay: $52,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
