in a professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality and presentation
Lead, manage, and train kitchen staff
Design and execute menus for West Indian, Islamic (Halal), Italian, and European dishes
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
Manage inventory, food ordering, and cost control
Collaborate with front-of-house staff for smooth service flow
Ensure timely preparation and efficient service during busy hours
Requirements:
Minimum
3 years full-time
experience as a chef or head chef
Specialization in
the following cuisines
: Indian, West Indian, Islamic, Italian, European
Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Food Handler's Certification (or willing to obtain)
