Looking for a mountain adventure with your knives in hand? The Beacon Pub & Eatery are seeking an experienced Head Chef to take the lead in our small but high-volume kitchen in one of Whistler's busiest pubs. This is a 6-month paternity coverage role, perfect for a chef who thrives under pressure, values creativity, and wants to spend the ski season in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
What you'll do:
Oversee daily kitchen operations and lead a tight-knit back-of-house team Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs effectively Uphold cleanliness and safety standards Contribute creativity and leadership to keep things running smoothly Work with an existing, well-established menu -- with the freedom to create your own dishes or make menu changes as you see fit
Who you are:
An experienced Head Chef looking for a change of pace and a Whistler season Or a Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager ready to step up into a more senior position Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fun, team-oriented environment
