We are looking for a Head Cashier to join our location in Lillooet, BC

.

The successful candidate must have open availability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

Create a positive and professional experience by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries, returns, requests, and concerns. Manage the daily operations for cash registers and front-end team members. Complete daily tasks which include cash up, balancing, deposits, coin orders, and credit/debit transactions. Support front-end team members by helping on registers, bagging customers' groceries, and stocking shelves with the freshest products. Verify and ensure accurate department signage, including pricing. Communicate important messages and provide training to team members. Ensure accurate inventory management including stock counts and orders. Create the weekly department schedules and assist with maintaining staffing levels. Maintain the customer service area to keep it clean and sanitary. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years cashier experience. Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience. The ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Retail or customer service experience is considered an asset.
