Job Description
2. Preference will be extended to present members of staff who demonstrate the following abilities/qualities while employed by the School Division:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to get along with and communicate with a wide range of people
- Superior cleaning skills
- Demonstrated leadership in assigning and completing caretaker duties
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Demonstrated repair and maintenance skills
- Commitment to work duties within the classification and reliability in attendance
- Commitment to ideals and principles of Catholic Education
- As per Collective Agreement
- Start date to be determined
- 3.0 hrs/day (7:30 to 10:30 a.m.)
- Salary range: $25.88 - $30.12 per hour plus travel allowance between locations. Overtime rates may apply
- Work to occur on weekends and holidays, providing checks on the operations, building security and mechanical and heating systems of facilities
