We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Brewer to join our team as the sole brewer responsible for all aspects of the brewing process at Farmhouse Abby. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced brewer who enjoys the craft of making beer, has a creative flair, and is excited about the challenge of taking job ownership of our Abby brewing operations

Responsibilities:

Brew Operations:

Manage all brewing activities from grain to glass, including ingredient procurement, recipe development, brewing, fermentation and conditioning

Quality Control:

Ensure consistency and quality across all batches, monitor brewing parameters, and make adjustments as necessary

?

Inventory Management:

Oversee the ordering and inventory of raw materials, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and available

?

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and industry regulations

?

Innovation:

Develop new and creative beer recipes that align with our brand and resonate with our customers

Qualifications:

Experience:

2-5 years of professional brewing experience, with at least 1 years in a leadership role

?

Skills:

Strong understanding of brewing science, recipe development, and quality control. Ability to operate brewing equipment and perform routine maintenance

?

Creativity:

A passion for creating innovative and high-quality beers that stand out in the market

?

Independence:

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle all aspects of brewing without assistance

?

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy bags of grain, move kegs, and stand for extended periods

?

Education:

Formal brewing education or certification is a plus, but not required if experience is sufficient
