Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Hockey Instructor to join our team. Previous playing experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves delivering instruction, engaging students, and supporting their educational growth across various subjects or training programs. The Instructor will play a vital role in inspiring learners and helping them achieve their full potential.

Duties

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and levels Facilitate classroom activities, discussions, and hands-on exercises to enhance understanding Assess student progress Provide individualized support and mentorship to students as needed Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation Ensure all instructional materials are up-to-date and aligned with educational standards Track attendance and maintain accurate records of student performance Promote a safe, respectful, and motivating atmosphere for all learners

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with students of varying backgrounds Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs Organizational skills for planning lessons and managing classroom activities effectively Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education Prior experience in teaching or training is preferred but not required Certification or relevant qualifications in the subject area are a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$28.20 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
