Heavy Duty Mechanics

to join our crew and help keep our fleet running strong on critical projects across Saskatchewan.

Logistics

Shift - Monday - Friday, with potential to travel to assist with maintenance on projects. Overtime is paid after 8 hours in a day and/or after 40 hours in a week.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager Maintenance, the HD Mechanic will assist with diagnosing, repairing and maintaining our heavy equipment at various job sites.

Summary of the duties

- Maintain and Repair equipment located at site including rock trucks, excavators, loaders, graders, dozers, telehandlers, skidsteers, scrapers and other machinery.

- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs on equipment

- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

- Conduct welding, fabrication, and part replacements as necessary.

- Maintain accurate service records and document repairs in compliance with company policies.

- Communicate effectively with customers, operators, and supervisors regarding equipment status and repair timelines.

- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and company policies while working on-site.

Requirements

- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Certification;

- Class 5 driver's license;

- Analytical problem solving skills;

- Strong oral and written communication skills;

- Experience with HD equipment computer software programs

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
