Job Summary

HomeCare Access is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aid and Personal Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support, including seniors and persons with disabilities. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through compassionate care and support in various daily activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Personal Care:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Light Housekeeping:

Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dusting.

Meal Preparation:

Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.

Companionship:

Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in conversation and activities that promote well-being.

Respite Care:

Offer temporary relief to primary caregivers by providing respite care services. Document client progress and report any concerns or changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications/Certification:

Must possess a valid Health Care Aide Certificate. Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. Recent CPR certification. Current police clearance. Registered with the Alberta Health Directory.

Salary:

Starting at $18 CAD per hour.

Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
