Qualifications:
What Makes You the ONE
At lease one year experience operating various sizes of haul trucks in a mining or construction setting
Must have oilsands specific experience
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma is considered an asset
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Responsibilities:
What You'll Be Doing
Operate various makes and models of haul trucks, transporting material from the mine for processing (CAT/Komatsu)
Ensure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies, operating standards and procedures
Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE
Reviewing safe work plans/hazard assessment with prior to job commencement
Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and field level risk assessments and ensure the heavy equipment is running properly
Report any necessary repairs to the maintenance team or supervisors
Report all incidents, damage and near misses immediately

OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness (Energy Safety Canada)
H2S Awareness (Energy Safety Canada)
Field Ergonomics (Energy Safety Canada)
Be subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:
Breath Alcohol Test
Urine Drug Test
Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment
Audiometric Testing
Vision Screening
Criminal Record Check
Once dispatched the following processes will occur:
Will receive a call from NASI to set up all required pre-employment testing
An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
After all results and paperwork are received by NASI, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details.
