We are seeking a candidate with a clean license to join our hatchery team delivering eggs/live chicks to/from our Westlock hatchery using our truck. Runs are daily to Edmonton, weekly to southern Alberta, and weekly to Manitoba. Work hours are variable, as the delivery of chicks is time sensitive, and you must be prepared to leave as soon as the chicks are ready. Ideally, the right candidate can work longer hours in our busy season (March to June) with longer runs requiring overnight stays. Other skills (maintenance, vehicle repair, electrical/plumbing/carpentry) will be beneficial for the successful candidate.
As an exceptional delivery driver, you will be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly for loading/unloading the crates and follow standard safety operating procedures. We pride ourselves on delivering quality chicks with exceptional customer service!
