Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Harvest Technician is responsible for providing logistical support to the harvest process.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with connecting the harvest vessel to the offloading tower for fish transfer. Control the flow of fish and blood water from the harvest vessel into transfer tankers. Act as the Grieg representative during vessel offloading operations. Maintain offloading equipment (tower, spill tray, transfer line) or coordinate required maintenance. Communicate effectively with harvest vessel crew, truck drivers, and employees across multiple locations. Perform other duties as required.

Ability to problem solve Physically fit - ability to lift 50lbs Well-developed interpersonal skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn quickly and efficiently

Training, Education, and Experience

High school diploma required. Candidates with experience and/or education in aquaculture will be preferred.

Working Schedule

Harvest Technicians work seven (7) consecutive days following seven (7) days off before returning to work.

Work Site Conditions and Expectations

Mostly outdoors Wet/damp environment Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling Overtime may be asked of you Working under pressure Meeting tight deadlines Ability to work with little to no supervision

Employment Type

Temporary, until February 28, 2026, with the possibility of an extension.
