Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware components for various projects. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles. The Hardware Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all hardware solutions meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities



Responsible for the mechanical structure design and optimization of the company's vending machines and related hardware products, ensuring functionality, cost efficiency, and safety. Participate in new product development and iteration of existing products, proposing structural improvement solutions? and driving implementation. Prepare and maintain technical documents such as 3D models, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and Bills of Materials (BOM). Support prototype assembly, manufacturing, and trial production, resolving design and process issues in a timely manner. Ensure structural designs comply with North American certification standards (e.g., CSA, UL, NSF, DOT) and meet safety and reliability requirements. Participate in product debugging and failure analysis, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance product stability and lifespan.

Requirements



Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in structural/mechanical design; experience in food trucks, RVs, food machinery, or specialty vehicle design is a strong asset Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, welding, aluminum profiles, stainless steel structures, and insulation materials Proficiency in CAD/3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) Knowledge of North American certification standards and design codes, with hands-on experience from design to implementation (e.g., CSA, UL, NSF, DOT trailer regulations) Strong hands-on skills, capable of participating in prototype assembly and troubleshooting Ability to deliver complete technical documentation (3D models, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, BOMs, etc.) Excellent cross-functional communication skills and adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,152.00-$66,000.00 per year
