HARDWARE INSTALLER/BACK-TRIMMER

Overview:

The Hardware Installer/Back-Trimmer is responsible for the installation of interior handles, gripset, garage door closer, closet rods, shoemoulding, baseboards, casing, shelves, doors, etc., cleanup, and perform other duties as required. Your strong organizational, self-motivational skills, excellent work ethic, and attention to detail will ensure that all work is performed and completed in a timely manner, professionally, efficiently, and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, install shelves, and trim such as shoemoulding, baseboard, casing, etc.

Install hardware such as door handles, grip set, garage door closer, closet rods etc.

Install or pin doors, bi-fold doors if necessary.

Operate tools such as drills, mitre saws, table saws, nail guns, etc.

Clean and inspect work areas

Clean, maintain, and service tools, equipment used in the performance of duties

All other duties as required

Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements

Qualifications:

Have and maintain WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), Fall Protection, and Occupational Health and Safety Certificates

Own transportation; valid driver's license

Have steel-toe safety boots, hard hat, and tool belt

Have a reliable cell phone

Ability to carry up to 60 pounds

Ability to work well in a team and independently

Self-motivated, highly organized, and goal oriented with the ability to work quickly and accurately

Excellent work ethic and reliable

Attention to detail

Quality workmanship

Professional appearance

Wages based on experience.
