The successful successful candidate will have a solid background in electronics, be eager to learn, and have a collaborative attitude to work with cross functional colleagues.
Core Responsibilities:
PCB schematic & layout design. Testing and commissioning new hardware. Working with the firmware team to ensure all hardware features work as intended. Selecting and approving alternate components based on market availability. Designing new products, as well as designing automated test jigs to test these products thoroughly and efficiently on the production line.
Required Skills Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diplomas/Certificates in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience/education. 3+ years Electronics circuit design experience. 3+ years PCB layout experience. Experience with electronics test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter etc). Electronics troubleshooting skills. Ability to pick up new tools and technologies quickly. Self-starter mindset.
Valuable Skills and Experiences:
Experience with Altium PCB layout software Firmware programming experience would be an asset
The successful candidate MUST be located already in the Greater Vancouver area of BC.

The pay range for this role is:
85,000 - 95,000 CAD per year(Canadian HQ)
