Lamer Landscaping & Snowplowing Ltd., established in 2015, is a full-service landscaping and snow management company based in Belleville, Ontario. Building upon the founder's extensive experience in construction and landscaping since 1999, the company has expanded its services to include comprehensive landscape construction, property maintenance, and marine and shoreline work.
Responsibilities:
A hardscape landscape laborer is integral to constructing and maintaining the non-plant elements of outdoor spaces, such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fences, dock installs and removals, and other structures made from materials like stone, brick, and concrete. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Construction
: Assist in the layout, preparation, and installation of hardscape features, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and driveways.
Site Preparation
: Prepare job sites by excavating, grading, leveling, and compacting soil as needed.
Material Handling
: Load, unload, and organize materials such as pavers, stones, gravel, sand, and concrete.
Equipment Operation
: Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery, such as compactors and saws.
Safety Compliance
: Follow all safety protocols, including proper equipment use and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Team Collaboration
: Work closely with team members, foremen, and supervisors to ensure efficient project completion.
Clean-Up
: Maintain a clean and organized job site and assist with end-of-day clean-up and equipment storage.
Experience:
2+ years in hardscape installation or related construction roles.

Must have experience installing fences, decks, docks, interlock, shoreline work, patios and pool experience. Please list all you have experience with. Only applicants who have this experience will be considered for an interview.
