Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills in facilities maintenance, electrical work, and customer service. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and operational. Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills in English are essential for interacting with clients and team members.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repairs on various systems within the facility, including electrical systems. Fabricate components as needed to support maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally. Lead small teams on specific projects or tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement. Weld components as necessary for repairs or fabrication projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform electrical repairs. Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in welding techniques is desirable but not mandatory. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
