Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of maintenance and repair skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service and leadership. This role requires an individual who can effectively supervise projects, manage facilities maintenance tasks, and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repairs in various settings, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety regulations. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting and repairs as needed. Maintain and operate Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management. Conduct welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications as required. Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting complex systems. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly. Lead small teams in executing maintenance tasks while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising maintenance staff or projects. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their applications in maintenance tasks. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for efficient workflow management. Strong welding skills with the ability to perform various welding techniques. Electrical experience with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. Excellent mechanical knowledge applicable to manufacturing environments. Ability to read and understand schematics for effective troubleshooting. Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on preventative measures. Strong customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with clients. Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide teams effectively in achieving project goals.
