Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Handyman or Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse set of maintenance skills and be able to handle various construction and property maintenance tasks efficiently.

Duties

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing drywall, painting, flooring and fixing minor plumbing issues.
- Minor electrical work: replace or install light fixtures, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, install celling fans and/or other small appliances.
- Carpentry work: repair or install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, shelving units, storage solutions, steps, fences and other minor tasks as required.

- General Maintenance: conduct regular property inspections and maintenance tasks, perform basic landscaping and yard care and clean gutters and downspouts.
- Provide excellent customer service while addressing maintenance concerns
- Read and interpret schematics for equipment repairs

- Other handyman or property maintenance related tasks as required.

Requirements

- Experience in maintenance and construction work.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Attention to detail of quality work.

- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.
- Knowledge of carpentry skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
