Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be adept at performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage projects, demonstrate leadership, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Supervise and coordinate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

Experience

Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Supervising experience is preferred to lead small teams effectively. Familiarity with manufacturing environments is a plus. Electrical experience is essential for troubleshooting and repairs. Strong understanding of schematics related to various systems. Excellent communication skills in English to interact with team members and customers. Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration within the maintenance department.
