We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills in maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on customer service. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various tasks in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties. Troubleshooting and repairs as needed. Interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair of equipment. Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency. Execute residential painting projects with attention to detail and quality. Supervise and lead small teams on larger projects, ensuring safety and adherence to timelines. Drywall repair and some plaster space. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and project updates. Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Ability to read and understand technical documents, including schematics. Previous experience in manufacturing environments is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction. A valid driver's license and own car will be required for travel between job sites.
