Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man/Woman, ideally a retired individual looking for extra income, to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in building renovations, construction, repairs and maintenance, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This role requires someone who can tackle the various tasks independently, ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. Currently the requirement is to do 3 smaller renovation/construction projects spanning from now until September 2025. Hours will be flexible, with only 1 project having a fixed timeline.

Duties

Perform general renovation/construction in commercial property, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks. Tools will be provided as required, but own tools are welcome. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with other team members or contractors as necessary. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Handy Man/Woman or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of reno/construction techniques and the tools used. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects when necessary.
