Handyman

to join our team and help maintain the beauty, functionality, and safety of our property.

Position Overview:

The Handyman will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and upkeep duties throughout the hotel. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone experienced in general repairs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and routine building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests. Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure systems and equipment are in good working order. Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs. Assist with small renovation projects, painting, and general property improvements. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

What you'll do

Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Diagnose issues using tools such as an ohmmeter to assess electrical systems. Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment with precision and care. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards. Document completed work and communicate effectively with clients regarding project status.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in general maintenance or maintenance person services. Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on electrical systems. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations. Experience in customer service or client-facing roles. Certification in relevant trades or specialized skills.
