Job Description

Summary of Job Functions:

Perform microscopic deburring under high magnification Deburr/finish aerospace components to rigorous design specifications. Demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and skill in hand-finishing techniques. Perform detailed inspections of finished parts to ensure quality standards. Use precision tools and techniques to achieve high-quality finishes. Interpret design drawings and GD&T requirements. Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment. Adhere to manufacturing systems and procedures, ensuring safety for yourself and others.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate deburring hand tools and power tools for finishing tasks. Collaborate with machine shop personnel to optimize deburring/ finishing processes. Maintain work areas and tools in a clean and safe condition. Assist in training and mentoring lower-level finishers. Follow all safety and environmental regulations and practices.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 education.


3 -5 years of experience in a finishing role within a high technology environment, preferably in aerospace.


Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hand finishing techniques.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of SAP is an asset.- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.


Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively.


Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and AS9100 requirements is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

This position may requires standing sitting for extended periods, using microscope, lifting materials and regular exposure to hand tools and finishing equipment in a manufacturing environment.


Must be flexible to work different shifts as needed.
