We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hair Stylist. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while delivering high-quality hair styling services. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Duties

Provide hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments while adhering to sanitation standards Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalized recommendations Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all tools and products are sanitized and ready for use Upsell retail products that complement the services provided, enhancing the client experience Foster strong communication with clients to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat visits Assist in managing appointment scheduling and client inquiries at the front desk Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques to provide clients with current styles

Experience

Previous experience in customer service is essential, with a focus on building rapport with clients Hair styling experience is required; familiarity with various techniques is a plus Knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon environment is necessary Strong upselling skills to promote retail products effectively Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally Experience in retail sales or front desk operations is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
