We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for hair styling and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for our clients. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to educate guests on products and services relevant to their needs effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on hair care. Provide courteous, knowledgeable service to clients. Determine client's needs and suggest products to meet their needs. Communicate product knowledge to clients as appropriate to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Foster a positive atmosphere in the salon by building rapport with clients and promoting teamwork among staff.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology license or certification in hair styling. Proven experience in hair styling techniques and trends. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Experience in retail sales is a plus, particularly in education surrounding hair care, styling and treatment products. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.40-$48.37 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
