Job Description

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and providing a great experience for clients of all ages. The ideal candidate will love working with people and providing professional services and advice to help meet our client's expectations.

Experience with cutting, shampooing and styling hair (cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, etc), along with knowledge of hair treatments (waving, straightening, tinting, scalp massage) is important to be successful in the role. Candidates should also be able to apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Also, the person must be able to work with the client in determining hair styles and treatments that match individual needs and are compatible with the client's physical features.

The candidate will need to possess a Hairstylist License/Trade Certification or Red Seal.

Opportunities to mentor future apprentices/students in training may also be available. When working, you will be responsible for handing incoming phone calls and booking appointments.

Position is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Wage is $15.65-18.50/hr for 30-35 hours per week.
