Overview:
Join our team as a Hair Stylist and showcase your creativity and passion for hair styling in a friendly salon environment. We are seeking a skilled individual with excellent communication and customer service skills to provide exceptional salon services to our clients. The starting pay consists of 50% commission on all services while the salon provides all product needed to perform services. Although this job posting is for a hairstylist, if you are certified in other services we would love to accommodate you to provide those services as well! Responsibilities: -Provide diploma that shows the completion of hairstyling trade -Provide your own hairstyling tools (shears, combs, brushes, clippers, styling tools, etc.)
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments, Etc.
- Consult with clients to understand their hair needs and preferences
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in work areas and tools
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction
- Assist with retail sales of hair care products
- Schedule appointments and manage client flow -Sell Merle Norman Cosmetics retail for a 5% commission bonus you will receive twice a year -Learn about all Merle Norman Products to be able to give recommendations to customers and help them find their custom beauty routine Skills:
- Proficient in hair styling techniques and trends
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell salon services and products
- Prior experience in customer service within a salon setting is preferred
