We are hiring a HACCP & Quality Coordinator to support our Calgary plant operations. This new role is dedicated to maintaining and improving our food safety systems, documentation, and compliance processes.


You'll work closely with production teams, lead internal audits, support CFIA compliance, and oversee product sampling. The role is a blend of office and production floor work, ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain and update HACCP plans, food safety documentation, and SOPs. Ensure compliance with CFIA, internal quality standards, and audit readiness. Coordinate daily sampling protocols and manage lab submissions. Monitor sanitation logs, CCP records, and equipment calibration. Lead or support internal audits and prepare for external audits (CFIA, customer, GFSI/SQF). Train team members on HACCP principles and food safety best practices. Identify documentation or process gaps and propose improvements.

Qualifications



Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Quality Assurance. HACCP Certification (required); strong understanding of CFIA compliance. Minimum 2-6 years of experience in food manufacturing QA/HACCP roles. Familiarity with internal audits, quality documentation, and sanitation protocols. Proficient with Mircosoft office and basic digital tracking tools. Able to work independently and collaboratively with production teams.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (some flexibility for audits or urgent needs, including weekends/holidays).

Location:

Fully on-site at our Calgary plant.
