Spolumbo's Fine Foods is looking for a HACCP Coordinator to join their production team. The HACCP Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the HACCP program ensuring compliance with company's objectives and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
Development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the Food Safety Enhancement Plan (FSEP) to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Manage Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program
Perform quality control and assurance tasks and review records
Employee training in food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Investigate deviations and customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions
Perform product and environmental testing
Liaison between the company and CFIA
Responsible for CFIA audits
Set standards and monitor procedures to ensure food safety at all stages of the operation
Work with management to determine and implement corrective actions
Contacting and updating the Supplier and Contractor lists
Responsible for employee disciplinary forms and re-training as required
Participates in and leads yearly employee training sessions and meetings as required
Assist in daily production tasks as needed by the Plant Manager
Assist in other needs of the production facility such as labelling, order placing, inventory management, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
2 - 3 years combined HACCP & Food Safety Experience
HACCP certification and internal auditing experience
QA/QC Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to be organized, self-motivated and manage workload efficiently
Able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
Available Monday - Friday from 5:30am - 2:30pm
