Job Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a HABS Associate on a temporary basis (up to 6 months) on our Home and Building Solutions (HABS) team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.


The HABS Associate is responsible for maintaining the Item Master File and central filing system, and assists with promotions, administration of rates, and issuing claims to suppliers.

What you'll do:



Maintain the Item Master File, including additions, deletes, changes, pricing, SDS, and the electronic catalogue Assist in administration of rates pertaining to freight, exchange, and duty Issue claims to suppliers as required, including warranty, store opening specials, UPC errors, picture errors, supplier performance, etc. Generate necessary reports for suppliers and Category Managers. Assist in the administration of E-commerce information. Assist with trade shows as required. Other duties as required.

Who you'll work with:



The Team:

You will work closely with Category Managers and will report into the Item Management Supervisor. This team is composed of 6 people who strive to cultivate a culture of collaboration, accuracy and efficiency.


The Collaborators:

You will work closely with other functions in our Retail Merchandising business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Marketing.

Who you are:



You are looking for a career in Administration and:


Have minimum one year of related experience. Have a Grade 12 diploma plus a recognized one-year business program. Experience with Microsoft Excel and mainframe applications is an asset.
