The Gymnastics Program Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and daily operations of both recreational and competitive gymnastics programs. This role ensures that classes and training sessions are delivered with excellence, safety, and consistency while supporting and mentoring the coaching team. Working closely with the Gym Director or Owner, the Program Manager helps maintain high standards, coordinates program schedules, and fosters a positive environment for athletes, families, and staff.

Duties:
Key Responsibilities
Program Operations
Develop, implement, and maintain schedules, rotations, and lesson plans for recreational and competitive programs.
Ensure programs meet quality, safety, and developmental standards aligned with the gym's philosophy and policies.
Monitor enrollment trends, class sizes, and progression levels, recommending adjustments as needed.
Coordinate program offerings, camps, showcases, and internal events.
Coaching & Leadership
Coach recreational and competitive classes as needed, modeling high standards for safety, instruction, and athlete motivation.
Provide mentorship and feedback to coaches, ensuring consistent coaching techniques and positive athlete experiences.
Support competitive athletes in setting goals, tracking progress, and preparing for competitions.
Step in to cover classes when staff absences occur to ensure program continuity.
Administrative & Communication
Maintain accurate program records, schedules, and athlete progress documentation.
Serve as the point of contact between coaches, parents, and management for program-related concerns.
Assist with program communications, such as class updates, event notifications, and competition information.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of coaching staff in collaboration with management.
Collaboration & Development
Partner with the Gym Director or Owner to evaluate and improve program effectiveness.
Work collaboratively with all staff to ensure seamless transitions between recreational, competitive, and specialty programs.
Stay informed on industry best practices to help develop innovative, engaging programming.
Performance Metrics

Program Growth:
Maintaining or increasing enrollment and retention rates across recreational and competitive programs.
Athlete Development:
Consistent progression of athletes through skill levels and competitive readiness benchmarks.
Staff Engagement:
High staff retention, positive performance evaluations, and active participation in training and mentorship programs.
Operational Efficiency:
Classes running on time, effectively staffed, and meeting safety and program standards.
Parent and Athlete Satisfaction:
Positive feedback and low complaint levels through surveys and ongoing communication.

Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of gymnastics coaching experience in both recreational and competitive settings.
Certifications:
NCCP certification or equivalent (or willingness to obtain), plus current First Aid/CPR certification.
Current Criminal Record Check
Making Ethical Decisions and Respect in Sport certificates
Leadership:
Proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
Skills:
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities; problem-solving mindset; and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
Management experience
Be willing to update Standard First-Aid & CPR certification
